Join CLAS and the Brazil Gateway for a Zoom webinar with Bruno Cunha, a visiting scholar at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
The talk will be entitled "Judicial Dialogue: The United States Supreme Court and the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil. A historical and comparative analysis" and will take place on Wednesday, March 8, 6-7 PM EST (8-9 PM São Paulo).

On Friday, February 3, 2:20 - 3:40 PM, Dr. Paolo de Lima (Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos/Universidad de Lima) will give a talk entitled "Ulises (1922) de James Joyce, la papa y los caníbales: Una lectura frente al boom cien años después."

FLAS Reminder: Feb 1 Deadline
|

A friendly reminder that applications for the Foreign Language & Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowship for the study of Portuguese or Quechua are due this Wednesday, February 1.
This deadline applies to the Qualtrics application and supporting documentation, as well as all letters of recommendation (to be emailed to clas@osu.edu) and the filing of FAFSA.

Reminder: Global Teacher Seminar

The Summer 2023 Global Teacher Seminar will take place July 17-21 (1:30 - 4:30 PM ET) and will inform K-12 teachers about the United Nations' Sustainability Goal: Prosperity, focusing on the movement of goods and people in the regions of Africa, East Asia, Eastern Europe/Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
