Wait, is that a chill in the air? Fall is finally here, and the Sebastian River area is the perfect place to be outside and enjoying nature. Witness the annual fall mullet migration which makes all sorts of locals go crazy around here. The mullet migrates in such large numbers traveling along the Indian River Lagoon and beach shoreline, that the fish, dolphin, and anglers get very excited!
The cooler weather also makes for some of the hottest bass fishing in the country! Head inland to our unspoiled lakes and marshlands and see a different ecosystem at play. The natural splendor of places like the Fellsmere Stick Marsh or Blue Cypress Lake is teeming with wildlife such as alligators, roseate spoonbills, and trophy large-mouth bass. Countryside's favorite season is Fall Festival and Maze season when they grow acres of tall stalks so you can get lost! Hidden in their crop will be riddles, or Cornundrums, to mark your progress and win you accolades. Bring the entire family and plan to spend the day!
