About the Panelists:
Pamela Whitfield | Founding Partner, Elite-VB LLC

Over 25 years as a voluntary benefit leader, manager and agency owner in Washington and Alaska. In 1995, launched Aflac in Puget Sound. In 2000, launched Allstate in Seattle/Bellevue and in 2002, launched Colonial Life as the first District General Agent for the Territory. Ms. Whitfield was an award-winning manager and agency owner for Colonial in Bellevue, at one time having over 500 clients and 25 agents. With an Aflac replacement in late 2012, Ms. Whitfield decided the Alaska market needed a voluntary alternative, so she expanded the agency to Anchorage in February of 2013. In just seven years, her agency established over 120 new clients (many replacing the current carrier due to lower premiums, better service and professionalism), working with employers directly as well with brokers all over Alaska. Creativity and experience along with virtual enrollment tools have made Pamela and her agency THE leading expert in Voluntary Benefits in Alaska. Her agency won the #1 Business by the BBB in 2016 and she is actively involved in ASHRM as well as was being the President of Alaska Association of health Underwriters (AAHU) for 2018-2019. Established Elite-VB LLC in February of 2019 to be able to represent various carriers in the marketplace as a voluntary benefit broker.
