Announcing Project Patriotism
ACA Administration had hoped to launch this new project in time for President's Day, but winter weather had another plan for February! For Project Patriotism, we would like to offer our ACA families the opportunity to sponsor a set of flags for a classroom that will provide a visual reminder of patriotism and service.

These classroom sets will include a 12"x18" U.S. flag, Oklahoma flag, and Christian flag. All sets will be purchased from Liberty Flags.

Each set can be sponsored for $40, and may be dedicated to a current military service member, veteran, or first-responder. There are 15 classrooms still in need of a sponsor.

To sponsor a flag set for an ACA classroom, please fill out this FORM.

Please contact Mrs. Anton with any questions.

the Academic Counselor:

ACT 8/9:
On Friday, March 5, we will be giving the ACT 8/9 to all of our 8th grade students and any 9th graders new to ACA this year. This test replaces the Explore Test that we have given previously to our 8th graders. The test will begin at 8:00 and end at approximately 11:45. This is the test we will use to determine an 8th grade reading level when our students are ready to get their driver’s permit, so we strongly encourage al 8th graders to participate. Part-time students who are not normally at ACA on Friday mornings are strongly encouraged to come that day for the test. Students should bring two #2 pencils, a calculator, a snack, and a water bottle.

Please contact Ms. Becki if you have any questions about either of these test days.
