CEC Inverness Summer Credit Recovery

Math Credit Recovery

Dates: June 27-July 1 and July 11-July 22 (3 weeks total)

Math credit recovery is designed for students who were reasonably close to passing (55% - 69%) Algebra I, Geo-Stats, or Algebra II, but need some extra work targeting the specific skills that kept them from passing the class during the school year. The first couple of days will be spent focusing on skill assessment to see where learning deficits are concentrated. From that point, each student will have an individualized plan with lessons, assignments, and assessments targeting their specific needs. This will allow students to demonstrate competency in a skill before moving on to the next one. By the end of the program, students will have had the opportunity to demonstrate competency in all skills needed to move on to the next level of mathematics.

Yearbook Orders
Yearbooks are coming soon! Yearbook purchases can be made at the front desk with Mrs. Annette Kullmer or in room 214 with Ms. Hull. Each yearbook is $25, and after pre-orders end on April 22nd, the prices will increase to $35. For kids who love puzzles, cybersecurity can be an exciting gateway to all the aspects in the world of information safety. ACC’s summer camps are helping students explore how cybersecurity works, get some hands-on foundational skills, and explore career possibilities, all culminating in a Digital Escape Room event on the final day.

Tuition for this Summer Youth Camp is being funded through scholarships provided by a grant from the National Science Foundation. Seats are limited to 15 high school students who are recommended by their school district, on a first come, first serve basis. Seats will fill up fast!
