Daily COVID Survey
Beginning on Monday we want our students to electronically take their Qualtrics survey. Here are the ways you can take it:

  1. The email that you receive in the mornings.
  2. There is a link on our website as pictured below.
  3. There are QR Codes here and as you walk to the front doors.

You do not need a phone to take this survey because you can use your Chromebook.
Sonora High School PTSA
Here are some commonly asked questions and answers about PTSA:

1. What is PTSA?

PTSA stands for Parent Teacher Student Association. PTSA is a volunteer association where parents, educators, students, and other citizens can be active in their schools and communities.

2. What does it mean "to join PTSA"?

We ask parents for a $10.00 membership price.

We use that money to:

Provide scholarships to our students and teacher.
Provide any additional support for Sonora's student activities.

3. How do we know that PTSA money is really being used for our children?

Any parent is welcome to participate in any PTA event. Our records are not confidential and we would be glad to explain PTSA money distribution to anyone.

4. Can anyone volunteer and help at school?

Yes. We welcome anyone who can assist us! There is a process, but we will be happy to walk you through this process.

5. Do PTSA members get paid when working at the schools?

No. PTSA members volunteer their time, and we welcome anyone who is willing to assist them. Our parents work very hard to fundraise for special programs at Sonora High School.

6. Can anyone become a member?

Yes. Anyone, including students, can be a PTSA member.

7. Do we have to volunteer in the school to be a member?

No. You are NOT REQUIRED to volunteer any time for our events and/or fundraising. We appreciate your assistance, but you are absolutely NOT required to do so.

8. How do I become a member?

Please click the link/QR Code below to become a member today.

Here is a decision tree that all families should use with regard to COVID as it relates to school.
FJUHSD FOOD SERVICES
Meals will be provided to ALL students free of charge again this school year and for the foreseeable future! While families are not required to complete the FJUHSD Income Data Form to access these free meals, they are encouraged to complete one to qualify for the additional benefits associated with this eligibility (P-EBT card, reduction in fees for bus passes, home internet access, utilities, and AP/SAT/PSAT testing). The FJUHSD Income Data form is in Data Confirmation or you can come into the office to pick up a hard copy. Please click the link below to read all of the benefits. We WILL be using the POS computer system. Students will sanitize their hands and then proceed thru service lines (speed lines or kiosks) as they have prior to COVID. They will make their food selections and then enter their student ID number into a pin pad to be processed. Breakfast will be served at the morning snack break and lunch at lunch break. We will not be selling any items a la carte.
