Volunteers Needed for the Holiday Shop!
The Hansen Holiday Shop Is Getting Closer!!!!

A big THANK YOU to parents who have already signed up to volunteer for the Holiday Shop! But there are still lots of time slots still open! Why miss out on all the fun?

We need YOUR help to make the Holiday Shop a success!!! 
* Help student shoppers pick out gifts
* Help student shoppers stay within budget and check out with their gifts
* Help set up and decorate the Holiday Shop 
* Help clean up the Holiday Shop at the end of the day
* Play games with students who are finished shopping or choose not to shop
* Donate gift bags and wrapping supplies
* Donate breakfast, dessert and snacks for our teachers

Scholastic Mini Book Fair
Thank you to everyone for shopping and volunteering at the Scholastic Mini Book Fair this week! If you didn't have a chance to shop, you still have time to do so! Become More Involved in CAPT!
At the end of this year, our whole Board will be concluding their 2 year terms. If you like what CAPT does and want to become more involved, here's your chance! No matter your skillset, we have a position for you!

Serving on the Board is a great way to get to know other parents and guardians. It's also a fantastic way to support the educational experience of all children in our school. As discussed at previous CAPT meetings, we would like to have folks who may be interested in these roles shadow this year to see if this is something that will interest them next year and it will be an easier transition once our current board leave at the end of this school year.

Each newsletter, we'll highlight one board position! If you would like to know more or want to shadow the current member, please reach out.
CAPT Board Opening: President

Our current President’s term expires at the end of the school year. We are looking for a creative problem-solver who is comfortable delegating and who can help us focus on the agenda. If you are ready to play a substantial role in supporting our school, we want to hear from you!

  • Chief Executive Officer of the CAPT
  • Chair monthly CAPT meetings
  • Liaison between principal and school personnel
  • Execute checks drawn
  • Attend monthly school committee meetings
