Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:
It has been an exciting and busy week on campus. Thank you to everyone who has made our Teacher and Staff Appreciation week so wonderful. It really was an extraordinary week that made our teachers and staff feel special and appreciated. We are blessed by the generosity of our school community.
On Wednesday, we honored our Mother Mary with the May crowning. It is always a beautiful time of year when we honor our Blessed Mother. To see all the students presenting their flowers and praying in our courtyard was wonderful. Congratulations to our middle school students on an outstanding Fine Arts Showcase. Congratulations to our drama students for an amazing rendition of Madagascar, A Musical Adventure. Our school is filled with talent! Thank you to all the parents who helped with the set for the play – we appreciate your support to make the play come to life. Special thanks to our fine arts team, Mrs. Ross, Mrs. Jones and Mrs. Herndon for their commitment to providing our students with so many opportunities to share their talents. It was an amazing night! We ended the week with a spirit-filled pep rally. Go Crusaders! Last Friday was a fun day on campus with our students going to the head of the class for Teacher for the day and Principal for the day.
The month of May is filled with activities through the end of the school year. Next week will be our Spring book fair. We will honor our athletes at the sports banquet on Thursday, and we will have Field Day on Friday. Friday will be a ½ day with noon dismissal. Mark your calendars for our Parish and School Crawfish Boil on May 22nd.
Happy Mother’s Day to all of our mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, and mother figures in our school community. We hope your day is filled with blessings and joy.
Have a blessed weekend!
Only by His Grace,
Kendall Shamas
