Almighty God, you have given your only Son to be for us a sacrifice for sin, and also an example of godly life: Give us grace to receive thankfully the fruits of his redeeming work, and to follow daily in the blessed steps of his most holy life; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

Please Be Mindful
| |
In this time of pandemic, with reduced foot and auto traffic in the Asylum Hill area, there has been an increase in the incidence of vandalism. We have experienced vandalism on our campus, and have learned that other area churches have also had damage done to their buildings and grounds. The police are as present in the neighborhood as they are able. If you need to be on the Trinity campus, it is important that you follow our protocols: let the Church Office know when you will be present, sign the log book when you enter the building (there's one at each entrance) and be mindful during your time on campus.

8 AM Morning Prayer in the Garden or the Nave
| |
Beginning next Sunday, the 23rd of August, Morning Prayer will be said at 8 AM every Sunday, regardless of weather. As long as the weather remains fair, the service will be held in the Garden, but in the event of rain, and as the year turns, we will meet in the Nave. Social distancing protocols will apply in either space. There will continue to be no choral or hymn singing. Masks must be worn everywhere on our campus and in our buildings.
The 10 AM Morning Prayer service will continue online for the foreseeable future.

Trinity Academy Needs
| |
Last year at this time, we were busy collecting back-to-school supplies for Trinity Academy. A lot has changed in the past few months, so we won't collect backpacks and school supplies as we did last year. But it is almost fall, and Trinity Academy will begin the school year remotely on August 31, and return to in-person classes on October 5. You can help Trinity Academy students continue their phenomenal growth and learning in this difficult time. Here are some of the ways you can help: - School supplies are still needed, even though we can't put them in brand new backpacks. If you'd like to help with school supplies, you can send a check to Trinity Academy, 120 Sigourney Street, Hartford, 06105 and put "School Supplies" in the memo line. Or, go onto the Trinity Academy website - www.trinityday.org - and click on the Donate button.
- About 40% of Trinity Academy students live in families that experience food insecurity. You can send a check to Trinity Academy, 120 Sigourney Street, Hartford, 06105 and put "Food Security" in the memo line. The Academy's administration will purchase grocery store gift cards and get them to the families who need them.
Thank you for your generosity! |
