To Staff and the Twin Rivers School Community,

As we enter into Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 23-27), I want you to know how grateful I am for your continued commitment to our students, each other and the entire community.

This has not been an easy time, with physical distancing and other restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. While no one knows when this will be over, now is not the time to let down our guard. Please join me in heeding the advice of health professionals who are imploring us to practice physical distancing and to avoid traveling and being in large groups this holiday season. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a webpage on Celebrating Thanksgiving, whether it’s with your immediate family or if you have plans to spend the day with people outside your household. The bottom line is we are being asked to continue to take the necessary steps to be safe so we can begin a new year with the promise of returning to traditions and familiarity.
