Lancers in Quarantine Can Now Access Class Video
COVID-19 dashboard provides weekly updates on the number of positive cases.
Lake Park High School continues to learn about positive student cases reported by families each week. As a reminder, weekly updates on the number of positive cases can be viewed on the Lake Park COVID-19 dashboard.

Some of these positive cases have resulted in other students identified as close contacts. If a close contact is experiencing symptoms or is unvaccinated, they will be unable to attend school in-person for up to 14 days due to quarantine.

The District has received a lot of questions about the rules for contact tracing and quarantine. Please understand that Lake Park does not make these rules locally, but rather complies with the rules from the Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health (linked here) that explain the public health requirements for all Illinois schools, both public and private.

Class Video Available for Students Under Quarantine
In order to better support Lancers who are not able to attend school because they are a COVID-19 positive case or a close contact, students can now view a live video with audio of the classroom activities during class. It is important to note that students will have their cameras and microphones disabled, but they will be able to see the class, hear the class, and communicate with their teacher via text chat in Google Chat.

Thank you for partnering with us to help keep our Lancer community healthy and safe!

Volunteer to Share Industry Experience
Join the database to support postsecondary programs, activities for Lancers.
Lake Park's Postsecondary Leadership Team has been hard at work reviewing on-campus programming and activities to support the college and career readiness of Lancers. To increase student exposure to college and career opportunities, your expertise is needed!

The goal is to create a database of volunteers interested in supporting college and career-related events/topics including mock interviews, career speakers, financial literacy, the trades, college, nontraditional career paths, and a multitude of other activities. As events are planned, invitations to participate will be sent to our industry experts. If you would like to volunteer, please join the mailing list.
