Ronnie's 4th Annual Bowling Tournament

Ronnie is hosting his 4th Annual Bowling Tournament in Livingston, TX February 12-13, 2021. Mark your calendars and start looking up airfare now for a weekend of fun and fellowship. You don't have to know how to bowl (or even like bowling) to come join in the fun. There is always a good life hack tip to be shared too! You might find a new and easier way to open a coke (or beer) bottle?? It is for a great cause and it is incredibly awesome to watch those with bilateral upper limb loss bowl those strikes!

As many of you know, we offer scholarships to attend the Skills for Life events, but did you know we also offer financial assistance to attend Ronnie's bowling tournament??? Click here to fill out your application today. We are excited to watch this event grow every year and would love to have you come join the fun in 2022!
Makerspace: Submit a Problem &
We Will Try Our Best to Solve It!

Is there something you want to do on your own, but just can’t? Let us help you figure out a different way! Maybe a solution already exists that we can share with you? But, if not, here are some neat opportunities to come up with a solution. Share your challenges with us between now and virtual SFL 5.5 in October 2021. You will then be assigned to work with a team over the next few months. At SFL 6, October 2022 (in person), solutions to projects from SFL 5.5 will be presented/delivered. Limb loss individuals will also have the opportunity to share additional or new problems at SFL 6. If you are interested in submitting a project idea or participating as a maker (prizes!), contact Levin Sliker at levin@pointdesignsllc.com.

Click Here to submit your problem via an online form and Click Here to see our flyer!

We have our first few applications rolling in, so submit your challenges and let's see if we can help find a solution.
September is Sepsis Awareness Month

Sepsis is the body’s life-threatening response to infection that affects 1.7 million people and takes 270,000 lives in the U.S. every year. Many in our Skills for Life community have lost limbs due to sepsis.

In 2011, Sepsis Alliance designated September as Sepsis Awareness Month. Every September since, they’ve invited individuals, healthcare professionals in every area of medicine, and organizations big and small to help save lives by raising awareness of the leading cause of deaths in U.S. hospitals – SEPSIS.
