The annual event brings together in-house counsel, local leaders, and attorneys.
The Saint Louis Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC STL) in partnership with the Bar Association of Missouri St. Louis (BAMSL) will host their annual Corporate Counsel Institute (CCI), event on September 27th. The event brings together in-house counsel, local leaders, and private-practice attorneys from across the Saint Louis region for a day of Continuing Legal Education and networking. This event will be held at the elegant Ritz-Carlton hotel, located at 100 Carondelet Plaza, Clayton, MO 63105.
The cost is $335.00 for BAMSL / ACC Members, $395.00 for non-members, and $150.00 for members in transition.
The 2021 CCI program will offer nine hours of Continuing Legal Education (CLE), including breakout sessions, with topics ranging from: managing data privacy and employment law to diversity and inclusion and working with federal agencies.
Ty Ulmer, ACC STL 2021 CCI Chairperson, said, “We are excited to bring back the CCI this year as an in-person event. The ACC STL and BAMSL volunteers have made this year’s event possible and worked hard to ensure that participants have incredible learning experiences and opportunities to network with peers.”
When asked about why the partnership between ACC STL and BAMSL is successful when co-hosting the CCI, Ulmer said, “The strong partnership between ACC and BAMSL is built on many years of working together, and outstanding leaders in both organizations recognize that each organization brings different, complimenting strengths to the partnership. The combination of these different strengths results in a CCI event that is greater than either organization could host on its own.”
The 2021 CCI corporate sponsors include:
· Husch Blackwell, the breakfast sponsor
· Thompson Coburn LLP, the lunch and cocktail reception sponsor
· Dentons, the materials book sponsor
· Chicago Title Insurance Company, the sponsor of the final presentation of the day, Jazz Drumming and the Art of Creative Persuasion.
