GRATITUDE CORNER
Aaron Conwell
Aaron Conwell, of Fairbanks, is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at the University of Minnesota Morris, where he expects to graduate in 2026. In addition to his studies, Aaron is involved with his college football team, the Cougars, and hopes to try out for baseball in the spring.
“I come from a large family with a one-family income. Without the help of Doyon Foundation, it would have been impossible to attend college immediately out of high school,” said Aaron, who graduated from West Valley High School. “(The scholarship) has provided me with the opportunity to enrich my life and knowledge immensely as this is the first time I have ever lived elsewhere other than Alaska on my own!”
