Please email us to request participation via Zoom and learn more about our COVID-19 precautions at the button below. The Fall Semester for our Children's, Pre-Professional, and Adult Divisions will be from August 24- December 12, 2020. DanceAbility classes will be September 7-November 25, 2020. Please email us here or call (573)825-0095 with questions and to sign up!

We have rearranged and added a few extra classes this semester. Here’s what’s new:

• Intermediate Modern and Jazz classes are now provided for our Ballet III and Ballet IV dancers to build their technique and versatility even more.

• Pre-Jazz is an introductory jazz class, appropriate for all Pre-Ballet students.

•Teen/Adult Intro to Ballet is back by popular demand. This class is taken at a reduced pace and is appropriate for any teen/adult interested in working on the basics of ballet.

Furthermore, our business and administrative team is restructuring at this time to better serve our students and our community.

Alice Wells, formerly our Marketing Coordinator, is transitioning into the Youth Ensemble & Communications Coordinator. Alice will lead the Youth Ensemble, create/manage online content, and complete general office duties. Alice will also be teaching a variety of classes, and is really looking forward to the upcoming semester.

Delphine Chang, our newest member, is filling the role of Financial Coordinator. In addition to teaching, Delphine will manage and organize the finances for the School of MCB. We are pleased to welcome Delphine to this part of our organization and our proud to have her on our team.

Karen Mareck Grundy, currently the Artistic and Executive Director for both the Missouri Contemporary Ballet and the School of MCB, will oversee the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the School of MCB. Karen is looking ahead to increased involvement with the School of MCB and growing the organization as a whole.

As the times change, we couldn’t think of a better time to reformat our staffing in support of our dance families. Thank you for being an integral part of our community and we can’t wait to dance with you this semester and beyond!
