Jayme Overstreet and Elizabeth Moss were among the more than 30 new teachers who reported to work on Aug. 11 to begin training for the school year. Sessions included curriculum and instruction, device checkout, technology training, digital resources, and mentoring.

Teachers and other certified staff members who are new to the Ray-Pec School District reported to work this week to begin training on curriculum, instruction, and technology. All other teachers returned to work today (Aug. 14).

Child Nutrition offers 3-day and 5-day meal packs

The Child Nutrition Department offers help to families while students are learning at home. 

Students participating in virtual learning (VIPR) can sign up for a 5-day meal pack. Students in grades 6-12 can sign up for a  3-day meal pack for days learning at home. 












Free and reduced-price meals
The Child Nutrition Department is dedicated to our students' health and well-being. Free and reduced-price meals are available to families who qualify. A new application must be completed each year. Meal application
Immunizations are required for all students
Immunizations must be current for ALL students -- those who have registered for in-person classes and those who have selected virtual learning.

All enrolled students of the Raymore-Peculiar School District, must present documentation of immunization status, including month, day, and year of each immunization before attending school. 
  • Kindergarten: Five immunizations
  • Incoming 8th graders: Tdap and meningococcal. (The Tdap vaccine helps protect adults and adolescents against 3 diseases: tetanus, diphtheria, and whooping cough. The Tdap vaccine may be documented as Adacel or Boostix.
  • High School: Two doses of meningococcal vaccine by 12th grade. In this two-series immunization, the first dose is given with the Tdap prior to 8th grade, and the final dose is required prior to the 12th grade year.
