Chamber Annual Meeting Set - March 11, 2021
The Chamber Annual Meeting for the 2020 year will be pre-recorded and available online for Members on March 11th. The recording will include State of the Community Addresses from both Mayor Friesen and Reeve Wiebe as well as Greetings from MLA Josh Guenter. We will also cover regular meeting agenda including audited financial statement and Highlights from the year past and plans and ideas for the future.
The meeting recording will be available on our website and regular social media platforms so Members can view at their leisure.

The Manitoba government announced it is making a third round of Bridge Grant payments available to help protect businesses in the province from the impacts of COVID-19. The province has also extended the Manitoba Bridge Grant application deadline until March 31.
Eligible businesses that received a first and second bridge grant payment, each worth up to $5,000, will automatically receive a third equal payment beginning as early as Friday, March 5 and will be notified of the deposit via email.
New program applicants will be eligible for a one-time immediate payment to a maximum of $15,000.

Statistics Canada is hiring approximately 32,000 people across the country to work on the collection phase of the 2021 Census. In the current context of COVID-19, they are committed to ensuring the safety of their employees at all times.
Available jobs for the 2021 Census include supervisory and non-supervisory positions that require collecting census data from residents in your community, mostly on evenings and weekends. Start and end dates vary by position and location, but are between March and July 2021.
