Gala 2022 Results: $45,578 Raised
A few people attended the Met Gala in NYC on Saturday, April 30, but the most important people of all attended the DCIS Foundation Gala 2022 at History Colorado Center in Denver. All 160 attendees were dressed to impress.

It was a lovely evening reconnecting with old friends, chatting on the terrace with new friends, eating a family-style Italian meal, playing games, bidding on items, and watching the program and awards ceremony.

The circle chart above gives you a feel for categories and percentages of money raised. Once we take out expenses, we cleared $25,353 to help DCIS students to travel and participate in intercultural experiences. Thank you.
Heroes of the Gala.
It's not magic, it's hard work from volunteers.
Although many people helped make our event special, the board of directors wants to highlight the core volunteer team for the DCIS Foundation Gala 2022. If you see them, thank them.
Allison Freeman and her husband Darin Freeman made sure the flowers were perfect and the decor was elegant. Lyn Edwards photographed the silent auction items and helped load them into the software, while her husband Jonathan Edwards co-created the table game and helped with tech issues. Jennifer Newton was instrumental in the silent auction management and logistics while her husband Matt helped resolve tech issues and welcomed guests with a smile. All of these volunteers helped with setting up and cleaning up.
Managing registration was Carol Martin, Carol Tobiassen, and Rebecca Lipman (alumni). They were warm and friendly, made everyone feel welcome, tackled tech issues, and were dressed to impress.
Carrie Harrison and Joyce King helped with the table games, getting retail donations, gift bag stuffing, setting up, and cleaning up. A mother-daughter team that knows how to get it done and have fun!
