About Us

From the Desk of Principal Shamas:

November 12, 2021

Dear St. Anne Catholic School Families:

November is off to a great start and there is much to be grateful for here at St. Anne. We are thankful that we were able to celebrate our Veterans this week with mass followed by a performance by our cheerleaders, songs by our scouts and choir, followed by brunch. It was great to meet so many great men and women who are willing to sacrifice so much for our country. Special thanks to Mrs. Ross and our parent volunteers for organizing such a special event. Our Fun Friday surprise celebration was enjoyed by all. We recognize the importance of fun and are being intentional about incorporating fun activities into this year.

November is full of fun activities. We're all looking forward to Grandparents Day on Friday, November 19th, the Tomball Parade on Saturday, November 20th, Winter Fest on November 28th and Crusader Donor Day on November 30th. Please check your email for details about Winter Fest.

There will be a St. Anne float in the Tomball parade this year. Please join us in the parking lot on the corner of Main Street and Walnut Street to cheer on the Crusader float. The parade starts at 10:00 am.

Have you heard of Crusader Donor Day? It is on Giving Tuesday, a national day set aside for benefactors to support their favorite charity. It is a great opportunity to support the Crusader Annual Fund. Thanks to a generous donor you will have a chance to double your donation on Giving Tuesday. Let’s join together to see how much money we can raise for St. Anne on this 24- hour day of giving.

We’re all getting excited about Thanksgiving break which will be followed by the start of the Advent season where we are waiting for the arrival of Jesus.

Have a blessed weekend!

Only by His Grace,

Kendall Shamas

Principal

Veteran's Day Celebration

A huge THANK YOU to all veterans who came for the celebration in their honor. It was a fabulous event and well attended. The students were thrilled to take part in celebrating our veterans. Special thanks to the boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and American Heritage Girls for their support of the veterans. Thanks to the choir and cheerleaders for the wonderful, entertaining performances. Finally, thanks to the parent volunteers who helped with the decorations and the food/drink setup and service. We are so appreciative to all who continue to make this event one of the most memorable events for our students and veterans.

News from the Development Office:

winter fest flyer pic.JPG

Winter Fest is right around the corner, and we are so excited about this community event! Winter Fest is intended to help fill the $80,000 gap that exists in our fundraising budget due to the uncertainties the last 18 months has brought. The event will be held on campus on November 28th from 1-5pm. There will be many craft activities and games, including ornament making, reindeer food making, an ornament relay, hot cocoa, caroling and more. Those who ordered wreaths will be able to pick them up at the event. We will have a classic car show and a nutcracker market. We will also auction three Christmas trees that were decorated by our students. We hope you can join us for a fun filled afternoon!

All children will need a wristband to participate in the activities. Wristbands are $15 each and can be pre-ordered here or online and picked up at the event.

Cash will be needed for food, on-site wrist band purchases, photos with the classic red truck, and some nutcracker market booths.

Classic car owners can register to bring their car here. There will be a vote for a People’s Choice award! The registration fee is $60.

Business owners who would like to have a booth at the nutcracker market can register here. The registration fee is $100.

To make this event run smoothly we will need several volunteers. A signup genius will be sent out by homeroom parents soon. Please sign up to help if you are able!

We are excited to host our community and kickoff the Advent Season!
