The Arts Council announces a call to teachers for its Young Creatives Billboard Project. Teachers and homeschool educators who work with students ages K-12 in the Ingham, Eaton, or Clinton school districts are invited to submit one student artwork that is suitable for a digital billboard. The project launches in March 2023 and runs for a full month. Deadline: Jan. 30, 2023. PLEASE SHARE WITH YOUR TEACHER FRIENDS!

ScrapFest is excited to announce that applications for ScrapFest 13 competition are now live! The 2023 ScrapFest event will be held on Friday, July 14, (along with Arts Night Out) and Saturday, July 15. They are seeking those interested in entering the sculpture competition and/or having an eco-art booth at the ScrapFest event. Competition deadline: March 18, 2023. Art booth Deadline: April 1, 2023. 

Lansing Art Gallery & Education Center in partnership with the City of Lansing announces a call to artists for the 6th annual ArtPath River Trail Exhibition. More than two and a half miles of the Lansing River Trail will highlight talented Michigan artists at multiple scenic and historic locations through the heart of downtown Lansing. Artwork of all media is eligible, including natural materials, murals, paintings, sculptures, and fiber installations. Deadline: Feb. 15, 2023.

Lansing Art Gallery announces a call for student art for its annual Art Scholarship Alert. This juried art exhibition and scholarship competition is open to students in grades 9-12 and students 18+ who participate in the Young Adult SE Programs, residing or attending school in Ingham, Clinton, Eaton, Ionia, Shiawassee, Barry, Livingston, Calhoun and Jackson counties. This program gives recognition and financial assistance to outstanding art students, encourages artistic growth and provides young artists an opportunity to participate in a professional gallery setting. Riverwalk Theatre is seeking an artist volunteer to help paint backdrops for their upcoming production of "Peter and the Starcatcher." Those interested should contact Brian Farnham at rwt@riverwalktheatre.com. Deadline: April 1, 2023.

LowellArts in Lowell, Michigan, is seeking applications for the "37th Annual West Michigan Art Competition," highlighting outstanding artwork by Lower West Michigan artists who reside in a 25-county region. Artwork in any visual art media can be submitted by artists 18 years and older. Artists may submit one piece for consideration by the juror. Deadline: Feb. 1, 2023.

Lakeshore Art Festival held in beautiful downtown Muskegon, Michigan, is seeking artists for their annual, nationally recognized, festival, which features a unique blend of fine art, handcrafted goods, music, food and fun. Guests will enjoy a juried fine art and craft fair, as well as vibrant streets brimming with unique artisan food products, children's activities, entertainment and more! Deadline: Feb. 1, 2023.

Posterity Art Gallery in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, announces a call to artists for its upcoming "Time · Place" art exhibition. Artists are invited to interpret the theme "Time · Place" by submitting up to six images using the website form. This is an all-media exhibition. All entered art must be for sale. Deadline: Feb. 5, 2023.

Hamilton County Artists Association and Nickel Plate Arts in Noblesville, Indiana, announce a call to artists for the "2nd Annual Midwest Juried Exhibit." This fine art competition is open to artists 18 years and older who are residents of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota or Wisconsin. Deadline: Feb. 1, 2023.

Webster Arts Fair seeks submissions from across the country for its annual fair held at the Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Missouri.
