Now that summer has reached its peak, we trust many of you are taking some well-deserved vacation. Our goal is to keep you informed even in this more leisurely season.

Our first article provides an update on Joint Commission survey activity. Understandably, their primary focus is catching up on overdue and high priority surveys.

Our second article covers the new fire drill requirements for organizations surveyed under the Behavioral Health Care and Human Services standards.

We’re now back out in the field full force helping our clients with their survey readiness efforts across the country. Indeed, it’s great to be back out there in person with so many of you!

We value your feedback on the newsletter. Please send us your comments and tell us what topics you would like to see in future issues. We look forward to hearing from you! Also, feel free to forward this newsletter to your colleagues.
