Thank You Thursdays
Charles Hay P.E. Teacher, Pat Sheehan, has his students write handwritten letters to their classmates and teachers telling them something they are grateful for each Thursday.

From Mr. Sheehan: "Gratitude is something that is near and dear to myself. The beauty of expressing gratitude to another person is the impact it has on both the sender and receiver. It feels so good to tell another person that you are thankful for them. It is equally as nice to receive that hand-written letter from someone that is saying they are grateful for you!

You package gratitude and learning how to write a letter to someone and you get a great lesson for these kiddos. It will be my goal wherever I go to teach this valuable lesson that I learned."
