THE COMEBACK CONTINUES SUNDAY!
These past few years have been rough. There are so many things that we’ve missed. Now that we’re doing things that we haven’t done in a while, we’re making some major comebacks. What if instead of getting back to the way things were, we focused on getting back to what truly matters? Let’s be honest; we’ve always done things that simply never worked. Rather than going back to that, let’s make a comeback to the ideal. With all this newness, let’s be intentional. As we make our comeback, let’s do so faithfully with all of the abundance that Jesus offers us. Who wants to make a comeback?
WE HAVE A NEW YOUTUBE CHANNEL!!
Please delete the old link and save and subscribe to this new one. Even if you don’t typically watch our services on YouTube, subscribing helps us to reach more people.

From time to time, either Facebook or YouTube goes down on a Sunday morning, which is one of the reasons why we stream to multiple platforms. If you ever experience technical difficulties on a Sunday morning, go to wayneumc.org and try the different links under Join Us for Worship. You can stream our services on either Facebook or YouTube without creating an account.

Join us in-person or online Sundays at 10:30am!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS TO BE CHOSEN?
When: Monday, January 30 at 7:00pm in the Theater
It’s Official!  THE CHOSEN is returning to Wayne Church!!! The Chosen is an historical drama television series created, directed and co-written by filmmaker Dallas Jenkins. It is the first multiseason series about the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth. Primarily set in Judaea and Galilee in 1st century, the series revolves around Jesus and the different people who met and followed him. This binge-worthy show has turned heads around the world as Dallas Jenkins seeks to share the life of Jesus with One Billion people worldwide!

Wayne Church completed two sessions of weekly gatherings to watch and discuss each episode of Seasons 1 and 2.  Season 3 is now available for viewing, so we will begin our Season 3 session.  Each gathering includes watching one episode with approximately an hour of discussion afterward.  ALL ARE WELCOME!  No RSVP required!  COME AND SEE!
THE JESUS REVOLUTION
The Wayne Church “Adult Connections” Team cordially invites you to a special Movie Night adventure! The Jesus Revolution is a feature film being released in theaters worldwide in late February.  The cast includes Kelsey Grammer and Jonathan Roumie (known for playing Jesus in the television series, The Chosen.)  It is based on author and pastor Greg Laurie and his book Jesus Revolution.   Inspired by a true story, the film follows one young hippie’s quest in the 1970s for belonging and liberation that leads not only to peace, love, and rock and roll, but that sets into motion a new counterculture crusade—a Jesus Movement—landing a cover article in TIME Magazine and changing the course of history. ALL are welcome to join us!  The specific date and time will be shared soon.  Please watch for more details soon.

THANK YOU CHOSEN 300 VOLUNTEERS!
A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers and generous donors of toys, cookies, blankets, socks and time to our successful meal hosting for Chosen 300 in Pottstown on Christmas Eve.  Because of all your generosity and volunteering, we served meals to over 100 guests, distributed a truckload of gifts to children in need, gave out Christmas cookies, distributed health kits to our guests as well and hand-knit blankets and socks and underwear. A special thanks to Amy Wildey and Kate Buckley for organizing the gift tree, Bob King for collaborating with the food pantry for providing the bagels and baked goods donations and all our cookie bakers who lovingly baked cookies for our guests.  Thanks to Pat Ford who hand knit many blankets that were given out.  Of course, many thanks to all our hands on deck volunteers in Pottstown, our van and truck drivers who transported everything, our cooks, shoppers and gift donors! And thanks to Nick Lian and Natalia Schafer for sharing their musical talents to our guests in Pottstown.  We are so blessed to have such a caring, generous and talented community!

Our next hosting is Saturday, February 25th. If you are interested in participating or contributing to this wonderful ministry please reach out to Bruce St Clair and Agnes Fischer. It's a very moving and rewarding experience and we would love to have you.  Keep in mind making this all come together involves many different ways of serving.

TUESDAY MORNING ON ISAIAH
When: Tuesdays from 10-11:30am on Zoom
The book of Isaiah switches between promises of judgment and restoration. The words of the prophet Isaiah are a reminder of humanity's sin, the judgment we all deserve, and how God displays His glory by saving sinners. This study reveals how the prophetic promise of cosmic renewal truly anticipates the work of Jesus Christ, the servant-king whose death brings new life for all who place their trust in him. Please contact Nancy Brown by the button below with any questions to get set up for Zoom.
PRAYER 103 ON ZOOM

Questions or to sign up, please contact Charles below.
WEDNESDAY MORNINGS

WE HAVE A CHURCH DIRECTORY!
SEND US YOUR PICTURE!
The church directory is an awesome tool to have in your pocket! Especially if you meet someone new and you want to make sure you put the name with a face! All church members are listed in the directory, and it is perfectly SAFE! You can only access it through the email the church office has on file for you and even then, you need to create a profile to access. Now is the perfect time to update your picture in the directory!! There are MANY new faces. Families have grown and are still growing, and we haven’t seen each other in person for a couple of years! It will be a refresher for all of us, as well as, help Pastor Greg learn who we are.
