Apply for SafeDineOC COVID-Safe Restaurant Campaign Today
The deadline to apply for the SafeDineOC Restaurant Program is October 16 or whenever the funding is allocated.

The County allocated $10 million in Federal CARES Act funding to support local restaurants that are safely reopening.  

Restaurants are eligible for up to $5,000 in reimbursements for purchases like masks, gloves and other personal protective equipment (PPE), site reconfiguration, employee training, cleaning supplies, etc.

Approved restaurants in the SafeDineOC program must post their attestation in plain sight for customers and will also have their name featured on the program's website.

OC Virtual Job Fair for Employers & Jobseekers Oct. 15
If you are interested in learning about new employment opportunities or are a business with available positions, register for the October 15 Orange County Virtual Job Fair.

The Virtual Job Fair takes place from 10 am to 2 pm and will give jobseekers the chance to safely network with multiple employers; visit virtual booths; and to submit their resumes and interview via live chat and video conference.

The Virtual Job Fair is designed for employers to recruit qualified candidates for paid employment opportunities. There is no cost to participate, and business registration is available here or by calling 657-400-1394.

COVID-19 Business Survey
In an effort to assess the workforce and business impacts related to COVID-19, the County and several community organizations have launched a brief business survey.

Business are encouraged to take the survey to help gauge strategies in the region's business recovery efforts. The survey, which takes about 7 minutes to complete, closes on October 2.
