PARA learned recently that the deadline for eligible Port Authority retirees to receive their 2020 Medicare Part B reimbursement is March 31, 2021.
Those of you who are eligible need to be sure to file for your reimbursement from Wage Works for tax year 2020 no later than March 31, 2021.

If you have not set up your account yet, go to the Wage Works website -- www.wageworks.com -- and do so as soon as possible. The Wage Works number is (877) 924-3967, if you need help doing that.

You will need to provide verification for what you paid out of pocket in tax year 2020 when you file for your Medicare Part B reimbursement. Again, go to the Wage Works website to sort out your personal account details.

The Port Authority Retirees Association (PARA), a not-for-profit corporation, was formed in 1989 to promote the welfare of retirees of the Port Authority (and PATH). That is accomplished by Paras acting as spokesperson for Port Authority retirees. We foster and encourage legislation that maintains or improves our circumstances primarily as it affects the pensions of the New York State Retirement System. PARA now has some 4,100 members residing in 39 states and 12 countries.
