Lukoil and Astrakhan Region Conclude Additional Cooperation Agreement

Lukoil.com, May 20, 2021: President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and Governor of the Astrakhan region Igor Babushkin signed an additional agreement on cooperation between the company and the region for 2021 at the meeting held today in Astrakhan. LUKOIL will fund landscaping of the Zelenaya riverbank in the Kharabalinsky district, construction of an outdoors sports and recreation centre in the Ikryaninsky district and outfitting of the training grounds of the Oil and Gas Institute of Astrakhan State Technical University. Lukoil.com, May 20, 2021: Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin ​held a meeting with President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov, who arrived in Nur-Sultan on a working visit. The parties discussed current operations and future prospects for LUKOIL projects in Kazakhstan. Vagit Alekperov also met Kazakhstan Minister of Energy Nurlan Nogayev, Chairman of the Management Board of the Samruk-Kazyn Sovereign Wealth Fund Almasadam Satkaliyev, and Chief Executive Officer of KazMunayGas National Company Alik Aidarbayev. By early 2021, the Company’s key performance metrics went back to their pre-crisis levels.
