NEW service schedule begins THIS Sunday, July 18!

Dear Friends in Christ,
As we moved from Zoom services to Zoom and indoor mid-May, we moved the 10:30 Eucharist to 11:00am. Our intent was to allow everyone to gather for a Zoom coffee hour after the 9am Zoom service with time to get to the church. After experimenting with the 11am service time, we have decided to return the Eucharist to 10:30am.

Starting THIS Sunday, July 18 we will meet at 10:30am for the In-Person, Indoor Eucharist with livestream. Hope to see you there!

Blessings,
Bob+
Everyone’s invited to….
Joyful Noise Plus —volunteers needed!
Sundays @ 9 am on zoom
An interactive morning prayer style service for everyone!
Come and join us Sunday mornings at 9 am for 30 minutes of Joyful Noise on zoom. Featuring favorite hymns, Godly Play stories and interactive prayers this service offers a joyful, spirit-filled online worship experience. Add your voice to our Joyful Noise—we need readers, storytellers and someone to lead the Lord’s Prayer each week. Telling the story is a great way to think about our favorite Bible stories in a new way. No experience is necessary and the scripts for the story will be provided for you. Please take a look at the Sign Up Genius, https://www.signupgenius.com/go/60B094FAAAD29A3FB6-joyful and volunteer to add your voice!
If you have any questions, please contact Michele, Michele@transfig-sm.org.

Sacred Ground is a film- and readings-based dialogue series on race grounded in faith. Small groups are formed to walkthrough chapters of America’s history of race and racism while weaving in threads of the family story, economic class, and political and regional identity.

Sacred Ground is part of “Becoming Beloved Community,” It is our church’s commitment to racial healing, reconciliation, and justice in our personal lives, our ministries, and our society. The program is open to everyone. We hope to peel away the layers that have contributed to the challenges and divides of the present day while grounded in our call to faith, hope, and love. The tragedy of Tulsa is just one example.
Memorial Service for Mary Lee Hatfield

Mary Lee Hatfield died peacefully on Saturday, June 26 with family by her side at Carlmont Gardens where she had been receiving supportive care. A memorial service will be held at Transfiguration Episcopal Church on Saturday, August 7th at 11am. Light refreshments will be served after the service. Please join us as we honor Mary Lee.
