SCS Colleagues,
As you may know, Memphis, Light, Gas and Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory due to effects of inclement weather this week. Out of an abundance of caution, all schools and District offices will be closed and employees will be working remotely on Monday, February 22 and Tuesday, February 23.
The entire week (February 22-26) will be designated as asynchronous learning days for students, and teachers and school based staff will be encouraged to continue their planning for a return to in-person learning. Teachers and school staff should contact their principals for any questions regarding expectations for the asynchronous learning days.
The District will continue to monitor the latest reports from MLGW and will provide an update regarding access to school buildings and District offices by Wednesday, February 24.
The District continues to plan for the gradual return of students beginning March 1.
