“Stella’s Shiny Smile”
SJ TEETH Storybook
SJ TEETH is excited to announce the launch of Stella’s Shiny Smile, a new storybook for young children brought to you by First 5 San Joaquin and San Joaquin County Public Health Services. By following Stella (a saber-toothed tiger!) as she is brushing and flossing to choosing healthy drink options, this story can help encourage young children to learn the importance of establishing a healthy dental routine.

The storybook is featured in both English and Spanish and includes fun dental health activities for young children. Of course, we made sure that dental health resources were also easily accessible for families.

The SJ TEETH collaborative was established to help eliminate dental disease in children and promote a lifetime of dental health. Through Stella’s Shiny Smile, we hope to further increase awareness of the importance of dental health and lower the rate of preventable dental conditions of young children in the county.
