Organization Spotlight: CHG

The Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild promotes and preserves weaving and other fiber arts. A founding member of SEFAA, CHG has been serving weavers for 65 years! You can join tomorrow's virtual meeting about the history of silk and silk weaving in India by emailing to request the link.
Congratulations to Joan Glecker whose entry, Pandemic's End (pictured above), won first place in the fiber category of the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts Regional juried show! A shout out, too, to SEFAA members Nancy Dugger, Margaret Agner, and Cynthia Frigon who also had winning entries. The show closes October 22nd.

Welcome to new and returning members Colleen Casey, Judith Dovers, Cara Ann Gunderson, Helen McBride-Richter, Jacqueline Mehring, Dinah Rose, and Rebecca Stuckey and thank you to renewing members Janice Hopper, Joy Johnson, Debbie Maclin, and Bette Martel.
