Students and teachers returned from the holiday on January 9th, ready to refocus and begin the new semester. NBS primary students were happy to see each other, and high school students began the first day with exams.

NBS is praying that each student grows spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally this semester.

News from Friends of Nazareth

We have recently remodeled the Friends of Nazareth website. Not only does it look beautiful, but it also offers everything you need for information, trips, donations, and more! We are adding features and updates often. Our newest addition is an easy-to-use page with direct links to every trip for 2023 and includes:

• Basic information for the trip
• Team member application
• Donation button for friends and family to give toward team or individual travel expenses
• Option for team leaders to share updates during and after the trip

The fourth graduate of Nazareth Baptist School to attend a FON Partnering School has now begun classes in Mobile, Alabama. Yonan Hanna, a new student at the University of Mobile, joins Fadi Abu Khadra, (UNA), Sameer Manni (UNA), and Amal Azzam (DBU) as the latest NBS graduate to pursue a degree in the United States at a university that supports and encourages the work of NBS and Friends of Nazareth. The Chisam Scholarship Fund has helped make this opportunity possible for Yonan.

Yonan arrived in Mobile on January 9 and began classes the same week. Yonan will be pursuing a degree in Ministry and will also be studying Business and Media. Yonan will serve as a ministry intern at the Moffett Road Baptist Church in Mobile with pastor, Dr. Doug Wilson. Dr. Wilson is also a professor at the University of Mobile. Moffett Road is a partnering church with FON.
