Join us for stargazing on the

lawn of the EnergyExplorium - RSVP today

Join the Piedmont Amateur Astronomers as they lead a free, public stargazing event at McGuire Nuclear Station's EnergyExplorium in Huntersville from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 17. Bring your telescope or use one of ours as you enjoy the night sky and learn more about astronomy. 

RSVP is required.


Open to the first 125 registrants. Please, no pets. 


Things to consider: 

  • OBSERVING ONLY POSSIBLE WITH CLEAR SKIES.
  • An email will be sent to all registrants no later than noon the day of the event with an update on weather conditions. You may also email us to get information the day of as to whether or not the event will be canceled.
  • The event is also subject to change/cancellation due to state and company mandated COVID-19 changes/restrictions.
