Global Business Program Opportunities

Global Business Ambassador

As Global Business Student Ambassadors, you will be given the opportunity to connect with and mentor incoming students in their journey towards reaching their goals and participate on committees; sustainability, newsletter, & Cultural Competency.

Additionally, as a leader in the Global Business Programs’ community, you will have the unique opportunity to be a member of on our student advisory board to provide direct student input. We are also able to offer individual student ambassadors the opportunity to engage with professional stakeholders in a variety of avenues.
Business Case Challenge

The University of Connecticut’s International Business Case Challenge brings teams of four undergraduate students from around the world to compete in analyzing and presenting an international business case to judges.

The case generally addresses an issue related to sustainable global business. The UConn IB Case Challenge offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain exposure to international business issues as well as to network with business students from around the globe.

Wall Street Prep's Passport Program

Do you want to work in the investment banking industry?

 
This program will give eager students fundamental knowledge within Excel, Accounting, Financial Statement Modeling, Discounted Cash Flow analysis, and Merger Analysis. This knowledge and skillset will set you apart in the rigorous interview process. The timeline for banking recruitment is competitive and EARLY. If any of these potential career areas interest you, apply below: asset management; business development • Consulting • Corporate finance • Credit research • Equity research • Capital markets • Investment banking • Private equity • Project finance • Venture capital. 

 
  • The program material will be asynchronous with quizzes and deadlines each week and will take approximately 18 overall hours to complete.
 
  • This program is available for Business students with finance related majors; preference will be given to current 2nd year students.  
 
  • If you are interested in participating in this program, please fill out the application form below. You will be notified of acceptance within two weeks of your application. 

Hartford-Advocacy & Engagement Toolbox

UConn Hartford launched a digital space to highlight teaching faculty, staff, and students, who all leverage the campus's proximity to state and local government, corporate entities, other regional academic institutions, and non-profit and arts organizations to enhance research productivity while collaboratively serving the wider community. The site will continue being developed to reflect the full range of our campus's community engagement activity.
