Welcome Back to School!

Hello Gilles-Sweet families and welcome back to school. We are very excited to welcome students back to Gilles-Sweet on Monday, August 30, 2021 and to the 2021-2022 school year. Coming home to families this week, will be a Welcome Back packet containing students classroom teacher assignment and other important school information.  
 
We look forward to providing students the opportunity to learn differently, care deeply and aspire to excellence.

Please join Mr. Krivak and Mrs. Kovi on Thursday, August 26th for the Back to School Fair. This is a great opportunity to get a head start on the new school year. Students and parents are invited to tour the school building, locate their classrooms, and drop off school supplies. 

Please note: This is not a mandatory evening for teachers.

REGISTRATION AND INFOSNAP
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION IS UPDATED!  

The Fairview Park City School District uses InfoSnap (accessed through PowerSchool), an online registration program for both new and returning students. InfoSnap will require parents to download the student handbook, review with your child, and sign off electronically indicating you understand Gilles-Sweet school policies. InfoSnap directions were emailed on Monday, August 16th.

FREE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOR ALL STUDENTS
Free breakfast and lunch meals will continue to be provided to all students attending schools on the national school lunch program through the entire 2021-2022 school year.

PTA BACK TO SCHOOL FREE CAR WASH
The Gilles-Sweet PTA will have a FREE Car Wash on Saturday, August 28th from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Please stop by and allow volunteers of Gilles-Sweet to wash your car. Donations will be accepted.
TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
All students in Fairview Park, who live one mile or more from Gilles-Sweet, will be provided transportation to and from school. If your child qualifies for busing, you should have been contacted by the Transportation Department. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Belinda Younkoff at 440.331.5500 x1180. 

If you have childcare arrangements involving transportation, you must complete a Childcare Transportation Form by visiting www.fairviewparkschools.org/resource-center/parents/transportation
