THE REAL ENEMY
In Ephesians 6 we are taught about spiritual warfare. We learn about the armor of God. Each piece represents Jesus in a different facet. But who is the enemy? Is it the people in the world or the government? Is it Communism, Socialism, or any other “ism”?
We learn who the real enemy is in Ephesians 6:12 where it says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
The real enemies are not any of the above, such as people, communism, or anything else. The real enemies are not flesh and blood. They are demonic forces that rule over these people. They are like the military. They start out with low level entities and work all the way up to Satan. He is the ruler over all of these entities. He is behind all the warfare that takes place. His demons control people, businesses, countries, and the world in various ways.
When we see chaos, fear, murder, mayhem in the world, we can know that it isn’t the people. It is the spirit in the people controlling them. It has nothing to do with skin color or race. It is not a skin problem. It is a sin problem. People have allowed Satan to rule their lives, and again, he is the real enemy.

Remember, the real enemy is not a person. It is the demonic spiritual power that controls them. We are commanded to love our enemy; but hate the sin. Once you learn how to walk in your authority as a believer, you will defeat the enemy of your soul, namely Satan.
