We are gearing up for the 8th annual Little Hokie Hand-Me-Down event, co-hosted by the Women's Center and the Graduate School. Many of this year's donations have come to us from families who are past beneficiaries of the program. Talk about paying it forward!

For those who still wish to donate items, we will accept them until Monday, November 8th @ 5PM. We still need maternity and kid's clothing, toys, books, bedding, diapers, strollers, car seats and more, so drop those items off at the Women's Center (206 Washington Street) this week.

We also have volunteer opportunities. Registration is simple and only takes a few seconds to complete. Please sign up to help ensure that 2021 is the best year of Little Hokie Hand-Me-Down yet!

We look forward to seeing VT students and staff at next week's annual sharing event on November 9th and 10th in Owens Banquet Hall.

An Opportunity for Students with Children
This weekly free evening of childcare is available to VT students with kids and takes place Thursday during the semester from 6:30PM to 8:00PM. The registration link is posted each week on the Women's Center homepage.
Call for Submissions: 2022 Black Love Exhibit
Director of the Perspective Gallery, Robin Scully, and Assistant Professor of Black Feminisms, Andrea Baldwin, are excited to announce the call for submissions for the 2022 Black love exhibit entitled Experience Black Love. They are accepting original works of art in all media from students, faculty, staff and community members. You do not need to be an artist to submit to this exhibit. More details in flier below.

In recognition of the 100th anniversary of the admission of women as students at VT, we are spotlighting the research of WGS students.
