Dear friends,

After 13 years of service to St. David's, Director of Adult Christian Formation Rebecca Hall has accepted a full-time position as Director of Spiritual Formation and Discipleship at the Iona Center at Seminary of the Southwest. She will continue leading adult formation at St. David's through the end of December.

The Iona Center provides theological education for dioceses' training people to be priests and deacons in their local setting (like our Iona School for Ministry in EDOT). Rebecca will teach Spiritual Formation and Practices courses and work with congregations in a new initiative called Thriving Bi-Vocational Congregations.

I want to thank Rebecca for more than a decade of adult formation leadership at St. David's. I am also happy to say that she is not leaving St. David's. Rebecca will continue to oversee The Abbey at St. David's on a very part-time basis and volunteer with the Go and Do Likewise project.

We're proud of Rebecca, we're excited for this new chapter in her career connecting people to God, and we look forward to more great things with The Abbey.

Peace,
The Rev. Dr. Chuck Treadwell, Rector
A Message from Rebecca Hall
Dear St. David's family,

I am very excited about this new challenge and opportunity. I am also thrilled that I will be staying at St. David's as the director of The Abbey. This ministry is in an exciting stage of development.

Though I will not be here as much, I love St. David's and I treasure my relationships with so many of you. I'll still be around!

I look forward to seeing how we will grow and serve the church together going forward.

Rebecca Hall
Director of Adult Christian Formation and The Abbey
