Easy at Home Paper Plate Watermelon Craft for PreSchoolers
[Source: No Time for Flashcards]

This is a classic craft, which is why it was perfect for my last  LIVE Monday Morning Craft session on Facebook this week. I'll be showing re-runs while I prepare for the new school year best I can amid COVID-19. One of my main goals with these live crafts has been to how parents and caregivers how easy it is to do these activities and tie them to other learning. This craft combines color mixing, the very beginning of fractions, scissor skills, and hand strength too. Crafts are useful. Just don't use them as a substitute for free art exploration.

It looks super goopy and messy but comes off of little hands really easily. Playing with bugs in muck is a fun activity for kids as they explore parts of bugs, count legs, identify colors, and more!
