Greetings!
Throughout the week, the topic of peace for this newsletter kept coming to mind… Should I really be all that surprised? We are living in times of compelling social, economic, environmental, health, and political issues that deserve our conscious attention and active participation. Energy and emotions are flying at record levels (it would seem to me) and people’s lives and psyches have been altered in ways perhaps like never before for so many. I would think the idea and practice of peace would be greatly welcomed!
While I’m hoping that at least one issue will reach a final resolution well before January 20, 2021 (I’ve been waiting 4+ years!), I know that in the midst of all the craziness, I still need to take care of myself—extra care of myself—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I need to be in fit condition in order to meet life in as positive a way as possible, to shine my light and help others.
So, I’m seeking peace within more and more these days. And “as within, so without.” When I’m at peace (or I AM peace) it’s a double-win: I feel calmer, my body and soul are more relaxed, etc. and that peace gets projected outwardly and is a force in the outer world. If I want to peace in the outer world, I must be peace in the inner one.
I must be ever-vigilant and protect my peace. Meditation, yoga, music, inspirational readings, prayer, and journaling are part of my “morning sabbath.” In the evening, writing a gratitude list, reading, and then falling asleep to soothing music calms me within. And during the day, from time-to-time, I strive to pause and take a deep breath--it’s amazing how such a small, quick action can make such a difference!
During these extraordinary and surreal times we may not be able to control what’s going on in the external world to any sizable degree, but we are in charge of our mind and heart. Let’s take good care of ourselves to get the most out of life and shine our light out into the darkness.
Here's some peaceful and relaxing instrumental music to aid you…

Inspiration and Contemplation
Inner Peace
THE PEACE OF GOD FILLS ME.
A peaceful day can be upended suddenly by chaos or disappointment. Traffic is worse than usual. A needed computer system crashes, or I receive unwanted news.
At any moment, outer circumstances can leave me feeling angry or frustrated. But I can choose to respond by making an unruffled, faith-filled realization. God is within and all around me right now.
What a wonder it is that inner peace is a thought away. I need only remind myself that wherever I am, God is.
I relax for a moment and choose to immerse myself in the comfort and love of God. I then open to clear inner direction, and the peace of God that surpasses understanding fills me with hope and calming assurance.
For God alone my soul waits in silence. — Psalm 62:5

Summer is coming to a close, even here in Arizona (finally)! So as the leaves start to drop, and the temperatures decline, it’s a great time for me to start getting cozy. Cozy is a feeling for me, a peaceful easy feeling. Times when I am snuggled up in my bed under the blanket or lounging in my living room, greatly contribute to my sense of calmness and peace. I trust that you have a space (sanctuary) that makes you feel safe, protected, calm, and at peace.
Happy autumn!
Blessings and cyber hugs,

You, Me, and Spirit
I was a devout atheist until 30 years ago when I "came to believe" in a Power greater than myself. Thanks to hearing the novel idea (well, at least it was to me!) that one could choose their own concept of God--and name too (Spirit, The Great Mystery, All That Is, etc.)--and the workings of synchronicity, I embarked on a new way of thinking, a new way of living, a new way of being in the world and with others. It impacted all aspects of my life and relationships.
Since that time of commencing my conscious spiritual journey, I have endeavored to remember The Presence in all that is, all whom I meet, and all that I do -- including working with clients in my own business and in the corporate world. I strive to be of service and to nurture the human spirit in all environments.
