Love God.
Love people.
Make disciples of Christ.
Dear Congregation:

I pray that all of you are healthy and blessed by the Lord. This weekend we continue our summer Pericope schedule, preaching through the epistle or Gospel lesson of the three-year church calendar. Pastor Ben will be preaching from Romans 8:26-39, reminding us that for the believer, nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus! The scripture readings are, Psalm 105:1-8 and Matthew 13:31-33 & 44-52.

There is a mandatory "wear a mask in public places" police in effect in Minneapolis (Executive order 20-81). We are highly recommending that, if possible, please wear a mask upon entering and exiting the sanctuary. We are also asking that you wear the mask whenever social distancing (6ft apart) is not possible. We know this might seem inconvenient, but I believe that this is an opportunity to place the needs of others (potentially at risk congregation members) as more important than ourselves (Philippians 2:3-4).

We will have masks available for those who do not have them. We are asking that you would honor the CDC's recommendation of social distancing, but also understanding families will sit next to one another. If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call us.

Below is information for the coming weekend and July:

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE TIMES
We offer two Sunday Worship services. The times will be as follows:
  • 9am | Traditional Service with Communion
  • 10:30am | Contemporary Service
  • Online Worship Service posted on Sunday morning here: Hope Church | YouTube Channel

As a reminder, temporarily bulletins will not be handed out on Sunday mornings. A "mini-bulletin" has been created: See July 26th's bulletin.

We ask that everyone who attends our services play their part in practicing safe social distancing. You can find a full list of our safety guidelines here (COVID19 | SAFETY GUIDELINES).

Upcoming Events:
We have some events coming up this July that are geared for the whole family. Please consider joining us as we continue to adjust to ministry in an era of social distancing (see below).

Church Safety Guidelines Update: COVID-19
PLEASE READ!

As a church it is our desire that we are able to continue to gather for Worship on Sundays. We also believe that we are called to look out for the interests of others (Philippians 2:4), especially those who are more vulnerable or susceptible to COVID-19.
For the health and safety of all who choose to worship at Hope Church, we ask that if you have any COVID-19 symptoms that you stay at home until you are no longer symptomatic. We also ask that if you have been in close proximity to someone who tests positive for COVID-19, that you take the necessary precautions and refrain from participating in Hope Church activities and our Worship services until you are certain you are not at risk of spreading the virus.
