While July is typically a quiet vacation month, it seems that there is more happening than ever!  Your WASHAA leadership is working diligently on planning a dynamic, interactive and robust Annual Conference November 6.  While we will be meeting on a virtual platform, we have some surprises in store for you!  Please block your calendar and watch for early bird registration details soon!

 

We are continuing to host periodic  Community Conversations on topics relevant to COVID-19 and activities to keep us connected.  On Monday, July 27, we will be talking with two hospital social workers who will engage us in understanding how to be more effective in advocating during this COVID-19 pandemic. Last, but not least, WASHAA will rebranding into a national not-for-profit organization in the Fall.  We hope that you will join us as we expand our offerings and continue to host meaningful content to help you advocate.

This Thursday, July 23 at 4 pm PT, WASHAA Member Crystal Cannon Flores, the Grateful Death will present a  Case Review  on Voluntary Stopping of Eating and Drinking.  During this one-hour meeting, professional members will have the opportunity to listen to the case, what lessons were learned and ask be able to ask questions. This is a  free   benefit of all WASHAA Professional and Partner Members in good standing.
