Eighth grade was tasked with planning Catholic Schools Week this year, and did they ever deliver! This group single-handedly coordinated a school wide art display about what they love about their Catholic community, arranged to have get well cards sent to the VA Hospital from every student in the school (and even addressed the envelopes!), petitioned to have lunch provided for the staff, and extended a personal invitation to Father Peter to visit each of the classrooms. Presentation offers so many leadership opportunities throughout a student’s academic career that by the time they are in 8th grade, they are true pillars in the community. Well done, eighth grade! You are small, but you are MIGHTY!
