Weekly Director Letter 08/27/2021
Dear Parents,

What a fantastic first week of school we had at Kids For Kids Academy. As most of our kids transitioned to their new classes over the summer, we had very little crying and adjusting this week. Kuddos to my fabulous staff who helped our new kids to transition. Remember if your child is still crying, it is a process.

The teachers are also doing their best to answer your messages in a timely manner in Brightwheel. Please keep in mind that supervision is our #1 concern in the classrooms so be patient. Sometimes the teacher will not be able to answer your questions in the app until the kids are sleeping. Also, any messages sent to the teacher after they have gone home will be answered the following day. Sometimes I see messages come in at 8 or 9 pm so I answer them when I can. As time goes on, you will get more photos as the kids get more comfortable with the routine.

This week we opened our first second grade class. The kids had a wonderful week. At this point, our school is 100% enrolled with a waiting list. I thank all of you who have posted great reviews on Google and have been spreading the word. It has certainly helped to fill our school.

If you missed our back-to-school event, you can click this link to view the files that we passed out at the event and to families who did not attend.

Finally thank you to everyone who is following our health and safety guidelines which include mask wearing as well as keeping kids at home if someone in the home has COVID. This letter is sent through the app weekly and also to your email in Constant Contact. It can also be found on our website after it is published. Please make sure to read the teacher's letter each week as well to keep up to date on what is going on in your child's class.

Have a wonderful weekend!
