Help us deliver "A Love Letter to the Bronx" for Valentine's Day

Bronxtopia is a hands-free interactive digital playground, designed for the Museum's upcoming new space by Bronx-born style guru Jerome LaMaar - also one our of newest Board members. Jerome calls the exhibit "A Love Letter to the Bronx" as it embodies his imaginative vision of his hometown as he was growing up and its ever-present coolness.

Inside the exhibit kids are invited to move and groove in sync with sassy, fashion-forward animal avatars to music and dances that are part of the essence of the Bronx.

"I am so excited about my passion project with the Museum. It's a new year and a time for some positive energy and healing!" says Jerome.

While the design portion of the project is complete, we must raise the remaining $50,000 that will bring this exhibit to life. The month, the Museum is hosting a special crowdfunding campaign to make that happen.

Express YOUR love for the Bronx by donating a little or a lot today!
Your contribution will give children an exciting new space energized with hometown music to express themselves through imagination and movement.
New board members bring style and expertise
Bronx Children's Museum welcomes five new members to the Board of Directors this month from a range of fields from legal to visionary: John Abrons, Nick Crowell, Antonnique Day, Jillian Faulls and Jerome LaMaar.

The infusion of new board members with a passion for the Museum will see us through to the opening of our doors and beyond. Read more about the newest members here.
Building Construction Update
On a recent visit to the Museum's construction site, Executive Director Carla Precht gives us all a high-five as she stands atop the bridge that will connect The Waterways exhibit to The Cloud - home of Bronxtopia (see above). While protective railings and side walls are yet to be installed, our road - and bridge - to completion moves onward and upward.
