Dear Old Donation,

 

Another beautiful day we're having today! Things have been and continue to be busy around here, despite our state of "lockdown." The office may be largely closed, but there is no small amount of activity going on between our active Day School and construction crew (which, by the way, is making incredible progress and you should definitely check out David Beach's blog!).

 

Tomorrow, our ZOOM bible study continues. Though Bob, Fred, and I have concluded our portion of the series, we still have three weeks left of study. This week, Mario Melendez+ is teaching and will lead the ZOOM studies at 11am and 7pm tomorrow.

 

On Saturday afternoon at 3pm, we will gather and livestream Sebastian Rio's memorial service. It will be a beautiful celebration for what was a truly amazing man and life lived. Please see below to RSVP if you plan to attend.

 

There will be NO movie this Friday, because Parish Life is devoting their time and energy to our "Pumpkin Palooza" happening this Sunday from 5:30-6:30pm, a joint effort with our Day School. Hopefully you are already well aware of our fun pandemic-style take on our popular event! Moe's Southwest will have a tent set up for you to drive by and pick up dinner (make sure to pre-order HERE or by calling 757-495-9500, and we'll have a pumpkin for each family and a drive-through Trunk or Treat for the kids. Come in costume, bring bags for the kids' goodies, and note-you don't have to order Moe's to participate! But if you do, know that Moe's donates 10% of sales back to the Julia Tucker Scholarship Fund for our Day School.

 

Finally, NEXT Sunday is All Saints' day. Every year we encourage you to bring photos of your loved ones with you to church, and this year we would also love for you to email us those pictures to include in our livestream service.
