Friday, September 10th, 6 pm

Help us kick off the new season with a lecture and demo by visiting artist, Sara Hubbs. For the past few years, Sara has collaborated with members of our hot shop team to achieve her ethereal, conceptual pieces, creating work that addresses the crossings of consumer culture with the deeper human instincts of care, intimacy, and play.

Join us for a lecture-demo on Friday, September 10th at 6 p.m.
Space is limited - Please call (520) 884-7814 to reserve your spot.

Health and Safety at SGS

We are eager to get back to work and excited to welcome you back to campus after our summer break Our Safety Task Force met recently to review campus policies and, in light of emerging variants, the increasing number of cases in Pima County, and the recommendations of health experts, we will continue to implement the COVID protocols that we initiated last fall:

  • If you are not feeling well on the day of your visit, have been in contact with anyone who is sick, or have traveled recently, please call to reschedule.
  • Class sizes and number of students per day will be reduced to allow for social distancing and cleaning between appointments.
  • Tools and surfaces will be cleaned several times a day. Studio cleaning protocols will be posted for visitors to examine.
  • Staff and students will wear masks at all times.

We appreciate your cooperation and all your efforts to keep staff and students healthy and well.
