New York State Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul
Invites You to a
Virtual Presentation Highlighting New York State’s Budget
TODAY 1:00 pm
Hosted by Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce
The budget builds on the bold vision to reimagine, rebuild & renew New York by supporting pandemic recovery of highly-impacted small businesses, restaurants and the arts & entertainment industries, placing a cap on broadband for low-income families, providing billions in rent relief and to preserve 100,000 affordable homes, investments from the private and public sectors to create Green Economy opportunities and create the nation’s largest infrastructure plan to drive growth and opportunity for all.
Please Respond ASAP to the Three Surveys Below:
Your Feedback is Important!
Member Feedback Survey
The Chamber needs your input! We would like to understand what services and programs were most valuable to you (or your clients/our community) last year - particularly as we navigated COVID-19 and related economic impacts together. We'd also like to know what services might meet your needs moving forward.

Your feedback will support our 2021 Work Plan and help ensure our member services, communications, event & program mix, advocacy efforts, and community/quality of life investments are serving the broadest stakeholder base possible.
Employer Survey:
Workforce Recruitment Challenges
REPLY BY TUESDAY PLEASE

As part of a collaboration between Cornell University and Tompkins County Workforce Development Board, we kindly ask you to answer a short survey about the challenges and needs you are currently facing in recruiting suitable employees.

The findings will be a key input for devising the Workforce Development Board’s employment and skills strategy for 2021. The survey should not take more than 10 minutes, and all data will remain private and confidential.
NYS CEO Survey - Reply by February 12th
The Siena College Research Institute (SCRI), in partnership with The Business Council of New York State, Inc., and with support from Western Governors University is conducting the 14th Annual New York State Business Leaders Survey.  This year, the survey has been opened to our Chamber members to participate in this study and share your valuable insight and opinions about the state of business in New York and the important issues that impact your ability to successfully compete in today’s economy including the changes that have happened due to COVID-19.

Please use our Chamber code: TompCEO to take this survey. If more than 50 of our members respond, we will receive a customized fact sheet for our area. We look forward to your response!
