Become A Member of Nassau Church: Inquirers Classes
To be Presbyterian is to join a way of life informed by a sacred rhythm: God calls us in grace and love; we respond in gratitude. Come explore church membership through our Inquirers Class for New Members in-person Sunday morning October 24, 2021, 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Conference Room. Arrangements can be made if you would like to participate in a Zoom class.
Class is open to anyone wanting to discover more about our church and required for those who wish to become church members. Your presence means everything to us! Contact Lauren McFeaters (609-924-0103, x102)

Live Organ and Jazz Piano Recital
Sunday, October 24, 4:00 p.m.
You will not want to miss a spectacular recital by concert organist and jazz artist, Alcee Chriss, at Miller Chapel of Princeton Theological Seminary this coming Sunday. Chriss was first-prize winner of the 2017 Canadian International Organ Competition and second-prize winner of the 2016 Longwood Gardens International Organ Competition. His program will include both organ repertoire and jazz piano music. The concert is free, with sponsorship provided by Nassau's Albert W. Thompson and Laura Lee Thompson McClure Fund. Please note that PTS requires vaccination and masking for all of its visitors. A poster and more information about Alcee Chriss is available through the link below.
GriefEncounters
It’s not too late to join Nassau’s grief support group on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Nassau. If you are struggling with the loss of a loved one, trying to find your feet again, then sharing your experience with others can help. Supported by God’s grace, scripture and each other, we can make the journey through grief together. GriefEncounters is a ministry of Nassau’s Pastoral Care. Contact Lois Foley or Marcia Wood for more information.

Nassau's Weekly Prayer Chain & D365 Devotional
D365 is a Presbyterian Church (USA) website and app offering a daily devotional experience written on a single theme for one week. Through scripture, prayer, and blessing you will read honest struggles and questions, all in the context of faith. You're invited to let the writer’s words serve as background for your own conversation with God
Neighbors Helping Neighbors
Coat Drive at Princeton Theological Seminary
It is the last week to donate to Princeton Theological Seminary's annual "Coat Shop". Many international students arrive in New Jersey without adequate protection against our winters. To help prepare them for the winter, we are collecting unused and gently worn men’s and women’s light jackets, heavy coats, fleece pullovers and winter accessories. This year we also have requests for items for children: newborn to age 10. Each Sunday morning a collection area will be set up in the Assembly Room or contact the church office to schedule a drop-off time during the week. Donations will be accepted through Sunday, October 24. Your help is appreciated!
2022 Calendars
The Mass Incarceration Task Force is collecting 2022 calendars to send to East Jersey State Prison in Rahway. This gift from NPC is greatly appreciated as it reminds the inmates they have not been forgotten. The calendars must not have wire but staples are fine. Place your donations in the basket in the church office on Sunday mornings or make arrangements to bring them during the week . If you are interested in being a pen pal with an inmate, please contact Marcia Van Dyck.
