A Message from the Associate Dean

I had the distinct pleasure of participating in the first in-person week of the Executive Leadership in Academic Technology, Engineering And Science (ELATES) program earlier this month as a Learning Community Advisor. ELATES is “a national leadership development program designed to advance senior women faculty in academic engineering, computer science, and other STEM fields into effective institutional leadership roles within their schools and universities” and is created and run by Drexel. A powerful program that elevates our stature within the engineering community, ELATES’ new Executive Director is Dean Sharon Walker, an alum of the program herself. Please read below for more information about ELATES and our 2021-2022 Drexel Engineering ELATES Fellows.
