Fall Update
“Online classes are the best. Because I get time to work and study. I don't have a car and it made my life easier. In addition we are more protected until this pandemic is resolved. Thank you for this opportunity.” -Summer ESOL student

This summer we held our first full trimester of online classes! As we move into the fall, we are building upon what we’ve learned and again offering our ESOL courses virtually. Fall classes started on September 21st, with our dedicated teaching staff continuing to engage with students remotely over Zoom. If you have any questions about classes, feel free to email info@lvgw.org or call our office at 508-754-8056.

Student-Tutor Pair Spotlight
Mei and Arlene
"Arlene is a wonderful tutor. I understand her English very well. She explains everything to me. She speaks very slowly and is patient with me. She has helped me study for the citizenship exam. I am very happy that she is my tutor. She is a 5 star tutor!"
~Mei
"It is such a pleasure to work together as Mei studies for her US citizenship interview and tests. And studies, Mei does! She is a very diligent student who always puts in the extra effort and time, whether e-listening to sources or practicing her pronunciation, required to study well and learn. Mei is always making connections from her learning to the bigger picture, such as how our government is structured and current events. She really seeks to understand and be able to use her knowledge. It is very gratifying – and fun. We’re looking forward to her becoming a US citizen. This fall we’ll be focusing on grammar and writing. I’m looking forward to our continuing sessions!"
